What people are saying about Chania Regional Unit

This day trip with our amazing guide Dimitris was absolutely perfect!! Dimitris picked us up in a very nice, very comfortable 4x4 and we headed out to two of the most gorgeous beaches ever! First we picked up a lovely couple… Jim and Janice from South Carolina from the port, and then headed off in our 4x4 to head up to the STUNNING Balos Beach!! Now let me start by saying that the road up to this place is no joke… In fact even sitting in the backseat I was a bit intimidated when I looked to my right and saw that we were literally on t as a bit intimidated when I looked to my right and saw that we were literally on the side of a cliff and the terrain was extremely rocky so I can’t lie… It was a bit scary! But… I have faith that Dimitrios knew exactly what he was doing and he would get us there alive LOL On the way up we got to listen to quite a bit of interesting information about the island of Crete!

Wonderful and intimate tour! We were able to see the oldest olive tree in the world on a family-owned farm, then travel to Anoskeli winery where we tried olive oil and wines from the winery. The olive oil was the best we have ever had. We then traveled to a lovely restaurant for lunch, where our meals were already ordered and we were able to try traditional Cretan food like stuffed zucchini flowers (our personal favorite). We were shown around the countryside as well, and while it was good amount of driving, the views were fantastic! There were supposed to be 4 of us, but the other couple did not show up so we got a personal tour from George who was incredible! He was extremely friendly and we really enjoyed his company throughout the day. Overall, a great tour that we highly recommend.

I’m really going to have to agree with other reviewers and say this was a fantastic tour. The trip to Bali’s lagoon for pictures was fun and informative as Nasos kept us informed about Cretan history and the local area the whole way there. He was engaging and funny and we felt at ease with him immediately. If I could book our time in Crete again, I would look to Nasos and Chania Adventures to help plan our time, it was that enjoyable! Falassarna beach was incredible. The water was so clear and beautiful to swim in and we had a very relaxing time in our sun chairs and umbrellas. So glad we started our trip with Nasos and would definitely recommend his services as a guide and this tour!

Please stop looking for any other travel company in Chania. Here with Adventure you are treated like family not just a customer. The owner will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of completely in every way possible. His agenda is set up perfectly to ensure you are relaxed and every second is spent enjoying your trip from Chania to Balos to Falassarna Beach. Honestly there are not enough stars to rate this company. I am confident that all of his tours are top notch as I know the character of the owner. He will work hard to organize every detail and respect your time on your vacation so that it is as enjoyable as possible.

It was an interesting and enjoyable outing. We experienced beautiful mountainous countryside, great local food and drinks. Our driver/guide was amazing!
