What people are saying about Chania Regional Unit

After reading some reviews we arrived early at the ship so we could choose where to sit (payed 27 EUR/ticket). At departure all seats where taken (except for some downstairs). The trip was really nice, with amazing views. You can also watch people driving to Balos all the way upon the mountain. On the ship you can buy food and drinks for normal prices and also rent a parasol for 5 EUR (if available). We first went to Balos. It is crowded, because different ships arrive during the morning. Still plenty of space, especially near the Lagoon where the water is very undeep for hundreds of meters and has a sandy bottom. Don't expect a nice sandy beach around the Lagoon, because it's really rocky. A snackbar was available. Not many parasols available. At Gramvousa the beach is even more rockier. You can climb to the fort for beautiful views (not for me to scary climb). Swimming is really nice in these blue waters; for a real sandy beach you beter visit Falassarna beach. We really enjoyed!

This is a fun activity to do. From the port of Chania you sail to an island and you can snorkel from the boat. Then you sail to another island, where you have the opportunity to snorkel again and swim to the beach. Everything is well arranged by Manos and Sophie. They are very nice. You get drink, watermelon and a sandwich on the boat. Manos also tells a bit of history of the islands. The boat is nice and tidy. Put on your bathing suit and towel and enjoy this fun boat trip.

We had made a reservation online, so we didn't know what to expect. Super nice couple, nice and cozy trip with tasty snacks and drinks (well organized in terms of hygiene and with a view to corona). Small-scale, with a lot of attention and care for the guests. Highly recommend!

It was very nice. Our guide was awesome, kind and and helpful. Loved it.

Friendly hosts, clean and spacious boat. Very enjoyable afternoon
