By rambling through the oft-forgotten enclaves of the Holy City, the paranormal authors bring guests face to face with a group of orphans who haunt a dorm of a Charleston College, a Citadel cadet who haunts a local hotel, and an angelic spirit in a Freedman Methodist graveyard, to name just a few. We will hear tales of a bookstore phantom, notorious for rearranging books in perfect vertical stacks, and a gruesome 19th-century amputation taking place in a medical student’s apartment. This tour is not for the faint-hearted! Based on historical events and specific details that are often lost in our general notion of ghosts, each haunting encounter will send chills down your spine.

James was wonderful! His knowledge of Charleston and its history was amazing. Love his enthusiasm and love of job. We felt right at home with him and he was willing to answer all our questions. Such a fun night!

It was a beautiful day for a walk. Eric, our guide, was very personable and very knowledgeable. We learned so many new things about Charleston that we didn't know. Very enlightening, very surprising.

Don is both knowledgeable (with firsthand experience as a child from his grandfather) and entertaining. Short walks between 4 bars. If you have low tolerance: pace yourself! Full varied drinks.

The tour was excellent. Lots of information was shared during the tour and well planned.

Very informative and interesting. Well worth the time.
