Full description
Drive high up into the Northern Thai Jungle, to the Chiang Dao Valley and to the Mae Ping river. This creek-like river winds itself through the bamboo jungle and gives an intimate view of Northern Thai wilderness.  Then, embark on a kayaking trip, where undisturbed woods, overgrown banks with fallen trees and the shade from overhanging trees provide a unique environment as you navigate the task at hand. Abundant bird life, jumping fish and mysterious sounds from the forest accompany the journey. To complete this wonderful kayaking experience, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or riverside.  Next, tackle Chiang Dao Cave, the most prominent cave system in Northern Thailand. Spend approximately 1 hour following a local guide through the side arms with headlamps and flashlights until joining the main route into well-lit caverns. Marvel at the Buddhist shrines and see the numerous bats that make the caves their home. Enjoy kayaking during the trip into the Caves to complete this day perfectly.

Unfortunately, nothing was said about the cave, so that you only walked or crawled (not for people with claustrophobia). Women are recommended to dress directly to suit the temple, otherwise you have to put on towels that are difficult to move around with. The kayak tour was fun and an absolute must for people who are not afraid of spiders (weaving)! But you should definitely wear headgear and swimming shoes, this is not mentioned when booking!

Danae looked after us very well from the beginning to the end of the day! Almost no tourists. Excursions without dead time. Accompaniment to pampering, and kindness. The good surprise was the sending of the photos of the day by email at the end of the day. I recommend this activity :) and thank you again to our instructor Danae. Mathieu, Diane, Romain

This tour could be almost perfect except for the fact that the transportation is in a van with no windows. The guides sit in the front with windows and AC and the clients sit in the back , which is ok, but seating there in open air means you're exposed to all the fuel and smoke of the traffic and that made us very dizzy and with motion sickness before and after the tour, which is about 3 hrs. Other than that , the cave is super cool, guides super fun and the kayaking was super cool. Be prepare for some falling cause it's not the most quiet river.
