We were in the park overnight. The staff are very nice and everything was explained to us. The elephants are treated well and only managed with words. No riding, no painting, no shackles, nothing! And you should pay attention to this if you want to approach these animals. Please never support the great cruelty to animals that is offered in other places !!! We can recommend the Elefant Retirement Park Chiang Mai and would have loved to have had more time there with people and animals.

Super experience - friendship between elephant and human

We drive 3 days in the park and we loved it. Alex is a very good host. He is the boss of the park and takes care of the guests himself. He will gladly accept food requests for the evening and will fulfill them as best he can. Living with the elephants, looking after them, feeding them, bathing them etc. is a totally great experience. Naturally, this also includes keeping the system in good condition. So clean the stall etc. I can recommend it to anyone - it was just super nice the 3 days. In my eyes, unfortunately a little too short, but unfortunately had no more time.
