What people are saying about Chiang Mai

Absolutely an amazing experience and recommend for someone who loves an adventure. Our tour guides JLo, Tony and Apple were outstanding. Their English was impeccable and they were so fun to spend the day with. Tony was incredibly patient and helpful. I had never mountain bikes before and ended up breaking my bike chain. Tony was able to fix it and help explain everything to me. On the tour we saw elephants, buffaloes and even a few bats in the cave we visited in the beginning of our trip. The food was also outstanding. So flavorful and accommodating for our different dietary restrictions.

Amazing, challenging, breath taking and memorable. The Trailhead team are top notch. Great bikes, great guides, great route. They documented our entire journey and sent us photos and videos. It was a challenging ride and is more aptly described as cycling trip with visit to waterfalls and boat transfers than my previously imagined 30/30/30 split. It was about 10/80/10 boat/bike/waterfalls. I liked the team so much I inquired about doing other things with them: trekking, hiking, etc. highly recommend!!!

Such a fun day! Our guide Lek was excellent and the driver James was very helpful with all of our gear and having snacks and water ready for us. We got in a ton of biking, some on the road but a lot on single and double track through the Jungle which was amazing. The Sticky Waterfalls are fun to walk on and a great way to cool off after a day of biking. And at the end we were treated to a local Thai lunch. All in all I highly recommend this tour! Trailhead is an excellent company!

Due to COVID restrictions we ended up on the alternative route. I believe it was more challenging than the original. Gorgeous scenery, plenty of variety. The road was a times not well maintained, multiple crossing of a stream. Plenty of up and down. Best for more experienced and fit bike riders. The guides were very supportive and fun. The support truck was with us all the way.

Very varied trail. Difficulty level for me as a 77 year old just at the limit. Our guide was approachable and very knowledgeable. On the trail we were also accompanied by a resident Karen who pointed out snakes several times. Although not included in the tour, our guide also took us to Doi Inthanon.
