This was a private tour with the three from our group, the guide, driver, and 2 apprentice guides. Anan was great. His English was good and he was very knowledgeable about the building of the road to Doi Suthep and the temple history. After lunch we headed to Sticky Waterfalls. I’m not sure what I expected but this was an experience. The falls has multiple access points. The first few levels you can cling up with no assistance. The last few have ropes to help you keep your balance. Our group climbed the falls twice it was so much fun.

Maggie and Mike were amazing! Maggie is very knowledgeable and I had lots of fun spending the day with her. She made sure I was able to experience lots of different things in Chiang Mai. The personal touches like having a waterproof pouch for my phone and taking lots of pictures were very nice.

The driver and the tour guide (Anan) picked us up on time and then drove us to the temple, where the tour guide went with us and explained the history and answered all our questions. Then we drove to the restaurant for lunch stopping at rice fields along the way. The restaurant had very nice food and a lot! The green curry and the northern Thailand noodles in curry sauce were our favorite, would definitely go back!!! Then we drove to the sticky water falls and this was refreshing and beautiful (one of my favorite places). On the way back to the hotel we stopped at a big local market and walked around and got fruit and snacks. The driver drove very safe and made us feel very comfortable. Anan was very knowledgeable, not only about questions about the temple and history but Thailand in general. He was also funny and made jokes. Overall, a nice, relaxing and interesting tour.
