During the afternoon tour, Visit the picturesque medieval village of Greve, the birthplace of the famous navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano. The day starts with pickup from central Florence (see meeting point section) where the group will be taken in an air-conditioned van/coach to the Chianti region. Upon arrival, a local English-speaking guide will share some information on the region before giving a brief safety demonstration and assigning the Vespas.   Start the Vespa ride on the quiet and scenic roads through the rolling hills of the Chianti region where some of the most famous Tuscan wines are produced and fall in love with the fields of vines, cypresses, and Tuscan rural houses. Admirea the skylines of the incredible Medieval villages like Sna Gimignano and listen to the legendary stories that these places hold from your local guide When hunger strikes, the group gathers back together at a local winery to share an authentic Tuscan meal combined with a light wine and olive oil tasting.   After a day full of sightseeing, the group returns to Florence at approximately 5:00 PM.

Experience the magical feeling of flying high above the cypress-studded hills and vineyards of Tuscany on a hot air balloon flight from Florence. The adventure begins as soon as you arrive at the take-off field, which is dependent on weather conditions and will be provided to you the day before your flight. Watch as the balloons are inflated and prepared before your eyes. Once the pilots have done their final checks and given you a briefing about flight safety, climb into the balloon basket and begin your float to altitudes of up to 2,000 feet (6,000 meters). Glide over valleys and castles, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the rolling scenery below. Each flight offers a different experience, as the balloons are directed by the breeze. Upon landing, enjoy a glass of sparkling champagne and a breakfast with local products before the transfer shuttle back to your take-off site.

All the guests will be welcomed at the estate and brought to the roof of the cellar to see the most breathtaking views of the rolling hills at 600 meters above sea level. Here one of the passionate members of the team will provide an introduction to a history of the estate and a small general explanation of what guests will see and what they will be doing in the next one and a half hours of their time. Clients will be able to visit one of the vineyards followed by an explanation of the working process and of organic agriculture with some additional biodynamic techniqes that are often used and practised at the estate. If the weather permits, guests would be offered a glass of sparkling wine or a fresh wine of their choice at the small adjecent terrace built under an oak tree.  The tour will then take everyone to a visit through the gardens of the villa and include a visit of the vegetable garden. The cellar is the next stop, where detailed explanation follows about the harvest and selection of the grapes during the harvest, fermantation, and further aging of the wines. Each step of the viniticulture process is explained in great detail and guests would learn a lot of new and exciting things about how to make wines in the Chianti Classico area. The last stop is a tasting room, where guests will be able to try all 5 products of the estate with the selection of various local cured meats and/or cheeses with bread and olive oil. Guests will also learn particular details about the history of each wine, will learn how to smell and taste it, and what to look for when opening a new bottle of wine. The last exciting detail is the grappa, for those who would like to learn about its production and unique and delicate taste.

There is no Tuscan recipe that doesn't include olive oil in its preparation and doesn't consider a specific wine to be paired with. On this winemaking and gourmet dinner experience, you will discover all the secrets of the production of wine and olive oil while visiting and dining at a boutique winery in the Chianti Wine region. After a 25 minute ride in a comfortable can you will arrive in the green rolling hills of the Chianti Wine Region, in the Tuscan countryside. Marvelous landscapes of vineyards and olive groves will surround you, while you reach the winery on top of a hill. Once there, a wine expert will welcome you and take you for the ancient cellar visit. The sommelier will explain the sophisticated techniques of winemaking and teach you to distinguish the different and various scents and flavors that each wine presents. A special winemaking experience, fun and educational for everyone, will help you understand how different varieties of pure wines (from Sangiovese, Canaiolo grapes, etc.) are blended to obtain the final complex wines, each one with a peculiar bouquet of scents and flavors. After the demonstration, you will become the enologist, creating your own personal wine blend. An incredible hands-on activity that will turn you into a real winemaker! You will then be served dinner, while you will learn the basics of pairing different wines with specific dishes. You will enjoy 4 different wines, including Chianti and Supertuscan from the estates.
