Singapore: Historical Bike Tour with Traditional Snacks

1. Singapore: Historical Bike Tour with Traditional Snacks

Discover the real Singapore on this 20-kilometer route through the city by bike. Visit a typical residential town and market to watch people go about their daily lives. Eat like a Singaporean, sampling local snacks and drinks at a “coffee shop”. See old and new public housing, as well as multi-million dollar riverfront homes.   Then, meander alongside the Singapore River, where trade brought to life a sleepy village town in the 1800s. See historically important landmarks, such as the 100-year-old fire station, museums, and places of worship. Of course, you’ll pay homage to the statue of Sir Stamford Thomas Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore.   Learn how WWII affected Singapore, and see monuments that honor those who suffered. You’ll get to understand the melting pot of people from all over the world who call Singapore home.   Finally, fast forward to the present and admire the ultra-modern business district. Jump right into the action as you cycle right along the Formula 1 route (though at a somewhat slower pace).

Singapore: Historical Waterway City Exploration Game

2. Singapore: Historical Waterway City Exploration Game

Be led on an exciting self-guided tour around Singapore and its river while playing a mobile-based quest with your friends and family. Solve the case of a mysterious murder while exploring beautiful scenery and famous landmarks. Download the app, go to the starting point, and begin the adventure. Follow clues as you walk past popular city sites like The Fullerton Hotel and Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall. Unlock secrets about the places you visit as you solve puzzles and guess the answers. Admire the stunning murals of the Coleman Bridge, see one of the tallest skyscrapers at Raffles Place, and discover where creativity meets history at The Arts House. Use the clues to lead you from one site to another. Each clue provides you with exact directions so you won't need a map, GPS, or guide. Complete the tour in about 1.5 hours, however, there’s no time limit, allowing you to go at your own pace. Play as a group or split into smaller groups/teams and compete against the others. Each person can also play on their own, separate from the group, and meet the group at the end of the tour.

What people are saying about Clarke Quay

We saw a lot of nice spots that we would never have visited otherwise. The guide told a lot about the city and how he experiences it as a resident. The snacks were disappointing, you got a small piece of bread with a drink. Expected more.

Would definitely recommend this bike tour, although it was raining we had a great time. The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging with us. A great way to see Singapore.

Very nice and fun way to discover Singapore. Comprehensive tour, with very enjoyable gifs, which told lots of fun facts about Singapore.
