Hear about the history of the marble used to build the Pantheon and Trajan's Column in Ancient Rome, along with many sculptures of the Renaissance. Drive to diﬀerent active quarries of up to 1,000 meters above sea level. Get in touch with the people, places, and machinery of an ancient tradition. Follow the winding roads of the Colonnata Valley and get detailed explanations about the old and modern excavation process. Take panoramic pictures of a terraced quarry in the Miseglia Valley before visiting an amazing underground quarry. Stop to taste some Lardo di Colonnata IGP on the way back to the starting point. Enjoy this traditional charcuterie product obtained from the fat of the pork and cured in marble bowls.

The tour was very interesting, but unfortunately not as described. The Lardo di Colonnata IGP tasting did not exist. Upon request we were sent to a small shop. The saleswoman was very rude and only said "No" when we asked about the tasting. Really a shame at the price per person from 6 years!

Great time with professional and attentive guides. We were late and Gabriel did what was necessary to allow us to join the group and enjoy this visit. The careers are impressive, the comments informative (and in very good French) and the 4 * 4 ride rich in thrills. We recommend !

it was a very interesting tour and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We really enjoyed it if I could give a recommendation of how the tour can improve, I would suggest that an introduction of the trip be done upon arrival. this way we would know what the trip consisted of. the way we had it was that we were asked into a car and driven off without an introduction or an explanation. it would also be nice if the Jeeps would be kept clean because they were very dirty inside. I understand that it is not easy because there is a lot of dust but maybe an vacuum cleaner would come in handy
