Full description
Explore New Orleans in a fun and eco-friendly way on a small-group bike tour that winds through the Big Easy’s oldest and most distinctive neighborhoods. Cycle along a flat and leisurely route from the famous French Quarter to less-visited neighborhoods like Esplanade Ridge, City Park, and Bayou St. John, learning about the city’s rich history and modern culture along the way. After getting fitted on a bike in the French Quarter, ride through this storied neighborhood. Then go beyond the touristy boundaries to explore more of the city, following leafy Esplanade Avenue to the green expanse of City Park, visiting St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, and other interesting locations along the way. After visiting St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, cruise past swampy vistas in City Park. You'll traverse through Bayou St. John, a historic waterway that was used by Native Americans and French settlers alike, and learn why it was so instrumental in the city's founding. This bike tour includes visits to the French Quarter, Faubourg Marigny, Esplanade Avenue, St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, City Park, Bayou St. John, Mid-City, the Lafitte Greenway, Louis Armstrong Park, and Congo Square.

A delightful, educational and entertaining afternoon. Great snippets of history and tips about how to enjoy the city beyond Bourbon Street. Loved the cemetery visit, Frenchmen Street, City Park and riding along the bayous and greenways. Our guide Eric was fantastic. Another tour guide passed us, pointed to Eric and yelled, “the best tour guide in the city!” We agree. Born and raised here, his knowledge and enthusiasm overflows and he’s a great storyteller! We were so glad we found this tour. It was the highlight of our trip.

Great tour! Our guide Eric was fantastic! We enjoyed seeing areas outside of the French Quarter and learning about the fascinating history of New Orleans. Although we covered plenty of area, the pace was moderate with plenty of stops. Bikes were comfortable, with baskets for personal items. Overall, our favorite tour in New Orleans!

We completed a tour with Eric in the creole area. It was absolutely fantastic, Eric’s knowledge of the history, culture and geography was outstanding. What made it so much fun was the way he told the stories of the city, with passion, enthusiasm and Witt. You Cannot overlook this bike tour and we highly recommend it!!!
