This tour was led by a true guide who shared her knowledge with our small group in a really friendly and helpful way. She took us into any shop or building that caught our interest while staying with the script on the food stops and tour through the old town. One tip- tell your cab driver that you are going to the old fortress entrance. If not he will drop you far short of your meet up and b.s. you that he can’t drive to that spot. It’s a common trick they pull.

Fantastic tour! The guide is very knowledgeable and his English is perfect. The tour is not just about WWII, it also illuminates modern Greece and the aftermath of the war. I highly recommend doing this tour if you want to enjoy stories of Corfu’s history and culture. Plan to walk/stand for 2.5 hours.
