Full description

After leaving the Costa del Sol and Malaga, continue along a scenic route with local vegetation such as orange trees, olive trees, and cork oak and the white village of Ardales and Cuevas del Becerro.

Arrive at Setenil de las Bodegas, one of the most beautiful and original white villages in the province of Cádiz. Take advantage of your free time to enjoy this peculiar town. Visit the houses embedded under the rocks of the precipice and sit down for a coffee.

In Ronda, arrive at the bus station before continuing on foot and enjoy a guided tour of the main sights. A walking tour in the romantic town center with its churches, mini-palaces, and Spain's oldest bullring, offers plenty to uncover.

Enjoy the incredible views of the Puente Nuevo, which crosses the “Tajo” (the Cut) on the Guadalevin river where you'll taste a local Ronda wine on a terrace with an exclusive view of the Tagus Bridge.

The Palacio Mondragón, also known as Palacio del Marqués de Villasierra, is, without doubt, an interesting visit, being a landlord Palais with Arabic gardens, but it is also the Archeologic Museum of Ronda, with interesting pieces proving the antiqueness of the city.

Enjoy your free time to explore the city at your own pace.

Really nice tour and would recommend! Eduardo as a guide is very experienced and talks about interesting topics during the guided tour. Both of the places are absolutely beautiful and worth a visit. Most shops/cafes are unfortunately closed in the morning when in Las Bodegas but the quiet atmosphere has a very idyllic feel. Be sure to bring sunscreen and hat when visiting Ronda during heatwave, as you spend quite a lot of time there and the heat can be tiring.

We had done a lot of walking recently so Ronda was a nice change. The first village is ok; we had some breakfast and a quick walk around. The bridge at Ronda is superb for photos. On your free time be sure to go down the steps to get a great picture of the front of the bridge (get the small waterfall in as well). There is plenty of free time so we splashed out on a delicious tapas lunch washed down with Vermut and sangria. Our guide Eduardo was superb and will be able to recommend places to eat.

Our tour guide spoke wonderful English and was hilarious throughout the bus rides and in Setenil de las Bodegas and Ronda. We stopped at Setenil de las Bodegas first for a walk through the tiny village and had about 25 minutes of free time to grab a quick snack. Our next stop was in the larger town/city of Ronda, where we had more time on the walking tour, plenty of opportunities for photos, and a nice glass of wine on a hotel terrace right next to the Ponte Nueva. We had a couple hours of free time after the walking tour before meeting back at the bus station. Directions were very clear and nobody was lost.
