Then, drive through the unique glaciokarst landscape of the Burren and past the 12th-century Corcomroe Abbey, a Cistercian monastery noted for its distinguished carvings and rich ornamentation. Then, follow the Wild Atlantic Way as it wends its way along the coast of County Clare. Pass Black Head and Fanore Strand, Discovery Points on the Wild Atlantic Way, from where you can marvel at views of the three Aran Islands, Inishmore (Inis Mor), Inishmann (Inis Meain), and Inisheer (Inis Oirr), locking in Galway Bay, and in the distance the Connemara mountains. Next, stop for photos at Doolin pier. Feel the Atlantic wind in your face and admire the power of the sea as it crashes onto the shore. After you've worked up an appetite on the beach, tuck into lunch at the Doolin Hotel (not included). Try any of the local seafood dishes. You won't be disappointed. Then, head to your main stop of the day, the Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy 2 hours at this signature point along the Wild Atlantic Way. Admire one of Ireland's most spectacular sights. Rising 214 meters out of the Atlantic Ocean, the Cliffs of Moher offer one of the most amazing views in Ireland. After the Cliffs of Moher, return to Galway via Lisdoonvarna, famous for its annual matchmaking festival.

Get back to nature on a day trip by bus from Galway to the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Listen to your driver-guide share the history of Galway and the surrounding areas, as you journey through the infamous lunar-like landscapes of the Burren and its iconic limestone terrain. Depart from Galway and set out to visit Dunguaire Castle and see the former residence of the King of Connacht. Grab a photo with an Irish castle and take a tour through the underground cave at Aillwee Cave or relax and grab a coffee at the café.   Continue over Corkscrew Hill to arrive at the Cliffs of Moher, where you will have 1.5 hours to explore at your leisure. Experience a moment of magic as you stand atop the Cliffs of Moher facing the full force of the Wild Atlantic Way.   After visiting the cliffs, make your way to Doolin for a lunch stop before heading north up the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route back to Galway, offering a number of photo opportunities along the way.

This hike is the best way to visit the famous Cliffs of Moher. If you want to visit the Cliffs of Moher, you obviously want to do it right! Meeting in Doolin, a small group of no more than 14 people will walk with a guide along a cliff walk route. The hike is 8km long (or 5 miles) and the route is missed by over 97% of people that visit the Cliffs of Moher. The adventure is breathtaking and brought to life with the help of your local guide. En route, you will take in the amazing views of Doolin, the Aran Islands, and the Cliffs of Moher. The guide will tell you untold stories about the cliffs while taking you to the most picturesque spots along the way. The walk will take approx. 3-4 hours but is spilt up with stories and picture-perfect moments so there is plenty of rest time. The tour ends at the Cliffs of Moher visitor center where you can relax, grab a bite to eat, and even check out O’Brien’s Tower or the indoor exhibition. Transportation back to Doolin is organized for you by the guide. It costs €20 or €5pp if there are 4+ people on the tour.

Day 1 Check in Dublin Heuston (Customer Service Desk) for 7:00am departure of InterCity train (breakfast available) to Cork. We transfer to Blarney Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone. After time for lunch and shopping we have a short city tour of Cork and then visit Cobh Heritage Centre home of the "Queenstown Story". We travel back to Cork station for train to Killarney where we are transferred to our comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation (with en-suite facilities). Evening free. Day 2 10:00 we embark on the famous Ring of Kerry tour which is a largely coastal drive around the Iveragh Peninsula - lots of stunning mountain and coastal scenery, including the famous Lakes of Killarney. Day 3 07.30 transfer from Killarney to Limerick, to join the Cliffs of Moher tour visit Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Galway Bay, overnight Galway City in 3 star Hotel. Day 4 10.00 depart Galway for tour of Connemara, including Kylemore Abbey after which we depart Galway by train, arriving Dublin Heuston 21.00. DAY 1 Check in at Dublin Heuston Station (Customer Service Desk) for a 7:00 AM departure with the InterCity train to Limerick (breakfast available). Join your coach here for a short tour of Limerick City and then to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (admission included). Next, visit the stunning Cliffs of Moher, Black Head, the Burren, and Galway Bay with an overnight stay in the heart of Galway City (3-star hotel with bed and full Irish breakfast) DAY 2 Transfer at 8:45am from your hotel to the ferry port in order to get the ferry o Inis Mor where you'll join a tour of the islands, time for lunch at Kilronan before a visit to the magnificent ancient Fort Dún Aengus. Return flight and transfer. Back to Galway city late afternoon. Overnight as before. DAY 3 At 10:00 AM, head into magnificent Connemara where John Ford filmed "The Quiet Man" in 1951, taking in Clifden, Kylemore Abbey (reduced admission rate applies to Abbey itself), Leenane and Killary Harbour or Roundstone, the Coral Beach and the Sky Road. Take in views of the breathtaking, wild Atlantic Coastline. Return to Galway for an InterCity return train to Dublin Heuston arriving at 8:45 PM (snacks and full bar available).
