Roatán Botanical Garden (1hour 30 minutes) -  Stroll through a diverse collection of flowering plants, ferns, spices, fruit trees, hardwood trees and orchids. Trails lead up the valley through arid tropical forest to the top of Carambola Mountain, where you can admire the colors of the coral reefs below and see all the way out to the island of Utila. Also, interact with hundreds of domesticated iguanas roaming freely in their protected environment. This haven is also home to monkeys, parrots, lobsters, sea turtles and other marine animals.  Butterfly & Monkey Park (45 minutes): See and learn about some of Honduras' most colorful butterflies, including varieties such as the common owl, zebra, helicopter, firecracker, Julia's, sunset longwing, monarch, and queen.
