Be prepared for a really long day - 6 hours on the boat for 6 hours on Santorini plus all your transfer and wait times. So set expectations. Having said that, we did and we thought it was a great day out. Delivered on the white buildings and blue domes of Oia (suggest That better be the reason you are doing the trip). Thira not as interesting. But the guide on the bus was truly excellent and pulled it all together. Factual and entertaining. The boat was held up leaving in the morning (not their fault) but they tried to appease anyway by adjusting return schedule so no time was list and offered hot dinner for free in the return trip. Boat was beyond comfortable seating (like airplane business class) and really didn’t seem like 3 hours each way. Not sure I’d want more than a full day on santorini anyway but got my bucket list photos. Kudos all round.

Excellent excursion, everything went as indicated, the recovery time in the morning, the sequence of trips… superb excursion, to do even if it is really very (too) busy… +++ great guide all in French and a lot of explanations on the island !! - you just have to know that you need a lot of transport (bus, boat, bus, boat, bus) during the day, it can be tiring but it's really worth it!

Overall it was a great experience but it started off badly. On the morning of departure, to convert the voucher into a ticket I queued for 1 hour, the ferry left 1.30 hours late. Fortunately, the shipping company remedied by offering dinner on the way back ..... I had asked for the guide in Italian but he explained only in English ....... Santorini is worth seeing.
