The winery we visited was brand new and modern. Definitely not a historic winery like the description. No viewing of the wine cellar. The red wine served was way too hot which made it taste extremely potent. It was not a wine pairing like we read in the description. We were served hot Parmesan cheese chunks with hard bread and gritty hot olives. It was extremely hot in the winery so it was hard to enjoy the tasting. Some people got full glasses others got just a taste. We only got to try 3 wines. From the description we expected a bigger variety. The food at the restaurant was not typical Cretan food. It was bland chicken and rice that you could get anywhere. You were limited to just choosing between pork and chicken. Our wine served was hot and we were not given an ice bucket like the other guests to chill our wine. Dancers were great and the atmosphere was great; however, it was hard to enjoy the evening with the food and wine options.
