Full description

Start your tour from your accomodation where your guide will meet you. Take a short scenic drive through to Damnoni beach where your personal boat driver awaits. Find yourself in Preveli after a short, picturesque boat ride. Enjoy a swim in the Libyan Sea at Preveli beach and feel free to explore the Kourtaliotiko gorge and marvel at the mountainous terrain. Connected to Preveli beach is a series of springs and waterfalls that lead into the gorge which can also be visited. Enjoy the versatile mixture of sandy beaches, lush forrest and stoney mountains. The next stop is the small resort of Plakias, situated near Souda Beach. Here you will have the opportunity to have a traditional Cretan lunch and the chance to go for another swim. In addition to swimming there are several shops available for your perusal. Return back to your accomodation with a different home route which will lead you through the Kourtaliotiko gorge.

The trip was a successful day, but everyone here should remember that the boat tour is NOT included and you have to pay €15 on the bus. The guide gave a lot of information and tips and gave space for a lot of free time. The bus at the falls was unique. Can only recommend this tour. Thanks to the guide :)

The excursion itself corresponded to the description. The palm wall is definitely worth seeing and invites you to linger and take pictures. If you don't mind cold water, you can also snorkel. However, the second stop is a bit sparse... for the 1.5 hour stay, the only option is to linger again by the sea or in one of the taverns.

Unfortunately it was windy. So trip to gorge and prevai so needed preparation that was unanticipated. Could have done with more time at Preveli and less time at the other two places - these were good, but less so than Preveli. Otherwise a good trip - the gorge trip unexpected, but great.
