1. Lyon: The Grand Tour by Bike
Discover Lyon, a city known for its variety of landscapes, in particular the confluence between the Saône and the Rhône. The tour will begin by the south of the city, in the district of La Confluence. After a 15-minute training session, you will ride from the extension of the Presqu'île to its modern district, passing by buildings from the city's industrial history. Then following the Saône riverbank you will see the Old City classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After a few minutes, you will be in front of the Croix-Rousse hill, famous for the silk industry and its beautifully colored architecture. Your local guide will tell you more about that time when the Canuts, or silk workers, lived and worked there. You will go back towards the agency along the Rhône river bank. Effortlessly cross Lyon with an easy city bike. This means of transport allows you to see, in a couple of hours, most of the main attractions offered by the city. You will go back home with a lot of memories: the confluence between the two rivers, the Old City of Lyon, the Saône river and its Italian style, Croix-Rousse hill and its silk history, the banks of the Rhône and more.
