Great day tour, it is a bit of a drive but worth it in my opinion. It is a bit harder to see the mountain behind the Lake in wet season (apparently only clear every two weeks) but we did catch some glimpses. Guide and driver both excellent. Only two downsides, I was picked up 30 min after the time I was requested to be ready, I was the first person so that was a bit annoying as it’s an early start anyway. The other issue was the van was absolutely freezing as they drove with the windows open to prevent foggy windows as the heater was broken. Company needs to fix this as made the ride really unpleasant, everyone was freezing. Suggest to bring a blanket in the meantime.

All around amazing experience! The communication was wonderful and our guide was extremely accommodating, especially since I was the only one who didn’t speak Spanish in the group. She kindly translated everything for me. I was also solo and felt very comfortable with this tour company. Breakfast and lunch were really good too!! I highly recommend getting a horse for the hike up. It’s much much harder than you think (I’m a pretty avid hiker and still ended up opting for a horse after starting up a bit). If you’re unsure which company to go with, you really can’t go wrong with Willka. Had such a great time!

Everything from start to finish was great! Our guide, Tony and driver Dino were awesome. They made sure everything went as scheduled and we had 0 issues! Tony was super chill and hilarious!The breakfast and lunch is good and was a great start and finish to the day. We ended up getting horses (80 soles) because the hike is no joke! It’s about 20% flat, 80% incline. Overall, it was worth it once you get to the lake! I’d recommend booking here if you are interested in going!
