Full description

Get back to nature in the dramatic landscapes of the Andes Mountains and experience the amazing scenery of the Sacred Valley by Quad Bike. Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Cusco, and then journey through typical villages to reach the colonial town of Maras. Admire the pretty church and rustic buildings of the pretty town center and watch the locals going about their everyday lives farming the surroundings. Visit the archaeological site of Moray to see the incredible terraced holes that form an amphitheater-like depression on the surface of the land. Learn how the holes were used by the Incas in ancient times to acclimatize seeds from the Andes Mountains.

Next, visit the salt ponds that the locals continue to work to obtain salt at the mines, just as their ancestors did in the days of the Inca Empire.

Overall really great experience! I think it should be clarified that there are some extra costs involved with going to each location. Also you will not be ATVing to the salt mines, you will actually take a bus. Other than these small issues, the experience was actually awesome! Truly breathtaking views and everything was handled very professionally. Pick up was on time, drop off was a bit late but not bad!

Absolutely loved riding quads in the countryside. It was really really beautiful and super fun. I thought the salt mines and Moray were just okay. Research the Tourist Ticket (bolero turístico) before deciding on this — entrance to Moray is a little steep and not included. Because I already could get in, the whole experience was worth it. Loved our guide, too!

Activity was nice and sights were great. Organization however was really not great: our taxi driver who picked us up had no idea what activity we were doing and where we had to go, also no idea with whom and we ended up having to wait and getting a guide doing the tour in both English and Spanish.
