This location also acts as a refreshment stop where snacks can be purchased and toilets can be used. Travel to the Cushendun Caves which were used more than once in the hit show. Sir Davos Seaworth and Lady Melisandre landed ashore in Season 2 - Melisandre gives birth to a terrifying shadow baby, and in Season 8 the famous battle between Jaime Lannister and Euron Greyjoy. Next travel to The Dark Hedges, otherwise known as the King's Road. The road famously was where Arya Stark escaped from King’s Landing, disguised as a boy. Walk along the famous tree-lined road which has become a famous Instagrammable spot. Lunch can also be purchased at your own expense. After lunch, discover the Giant’s Causeway where you can explore, and walk across the historic stones, and learn about the legend of Irish giant Finn MacCool. Discover how and why he built the Causeway. Finally, enjoy a short photo opportunity at Dunluce castle, which was famously used as the seat for House Greyjoy. Travel directly back to Belfast via the inland route and get dropped off back at the meeting location in central Belfast, next to the Great Victoria Street train and bus station.

Depart from Leonardo Hotel (formerly Jurys Inn Hotel) taking the Causeway Coastal Route. Stop for coffee and restrooms in Carnlough. This is the harbour where Arya escapes a Braavos canal after she was stabbed by the Waif. Stop to take photos at the Cushendun Caves in the Stormlands where Melisandre gave birth to a dark spirit in season two. Next stop is Ballintoy Harbor, the location where Theon came ashore on Pyke Island, where Theon later rededicated his faith to the ‘drowned god’, where Ser Davos seeks the help of Salladhor Saan for the Battle of Blackwater Bay and where Gendry escapes Dragonstone in a rowing boat. This is where your guide opens the trunk of the coach and takes out the Iron Islands costumes, swords, axes, and Greyjoy banners. What is dead may never die! Next, you will visit the Giant’s Causeway: a UNESCO World Heritage site and geological marvel of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, formed in the Paleogene Period, 50-60 million years ago (please note there is up to 2 kilometers of walking at this location). Our final stop of the day is the Dark Hedges, the avenue of 200 year old serpentine beech trees through which Arya and Gendry escaped King’s Landing.

Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge: Next stop we visit one of the most visited places in Northern Ireland amazing Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge where you can cross a bridge that spans a chasm over 75ft in height. There will be a 1-mile walk from the car park to the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge if you have mobility issues, have small children, or use a stroller that can’t handle unpaved pathways. (If you wish to cross the bridge you will need to pre-book your ticket) Please let us know before purchasing your tickets and we will advise of an approx. time of arrival. if you do not wish to cross, we can stop at the viewing point for photos. Ballintoy Harbour – Lordsport: Ballintoy Harbour is the location for Theon Greyjoy’s return to the Iron Islands. White Park Bay: A Beautiful scenic beach at the very tip of Ireland and the closest country from here would be Iceland which is 800 miles away. Giants Causeway: Commonly called ‘the 8th wonder of the world’, is the only world heritage site in Ireland. During our stop here you can spend time climbing over the ancient stones, snapping photos, and reflecting on the myths and legends of this very unique area. Dunluce Castle – House of Greyjoy: We continue a wonderful day with a photo stop at Dunluce Castle. We arrive at one of the most dramatic castle ruins in the world. Prepare to be amazed at the way this old castle hangs over the edge of the cliffs. The Dark Hedges: One of the most popular natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, the Dark Hedges were used as a set for the hit TV series Game of Thrones.

Day 1 Departing Dublin at 09:00, you will travel north towards the border with Northern Ireland. From here, it will be a short journey into the city of Belfast famous for its industrial past and turbulent history. After a short tour of some of the key areas of the city, you will arrive in the newly redeveloped Titanic Quarter, where you will have time for lunch and perhaps a visit to the award-winning museum. Other options here include a visit to the SS Nomadic, the last surviving White Star Line steamship, HMS Caroline, the fascinating Titanic’s Dock and Pump-House or perhaps take a black cab tour of the city. Later in the afternoon, you will leave the city and travel into the countryside of County Down for a visit to the world-famous house and gardens at Mount Stewart before arriving in the seaside resort town of Bangor - your base for the next two nights. Day 2   Today, you will follow one of the world’s great driving routes – the Causeway Coastal route through the beautiful scenery of the Antrim Coast and Glens. The tour follows the coast road from Larne to the world-famous Giant's Causeway. Along the way, you will makes stops in attractive historic villages such as Glenarm and Ballycastle as well as scenic attractions such as the Cushendun Caves and the many viewpoints along this stunning coastline. In the afternoon, you will have a chance to explore the incredible rock formations at Giant’s Causeway. Several places along the route were used as filming location for the TV series "Game of Thrones" and the last stop of the day will be at the stunning Dark Hedges - make sure your camera still has some battery power left.  From here, you will return back to Bangor for another night. Day 3  After another day full of contrasts and fascinating visits, start with a trip along the Ards Peninsula – a great favorite with holiday makers from all over Northern Ireland. At Portaferry, take a boat across the mouth of Strangford Lough to visit Castle Ward with its 18th century mansion, extensive gardens and grounds, estate walks and for "Game of Thrones" enthusiasts, the location of Winterfell and other scenes. From here, it will be a short drive to Downpatrick, site of the burial place of St. Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint. You will have time for lunch here and perhaps a visit to Down Cathedral or St. Patrick's center. In the afternoon, the tour will continue along the coast with the brooding granite peaks of Mourne Mountains on one side and the Irish Sea on the other. After a detour into the heart of the mountains through an area of traditional farms with their fascinating field patterns and huge stone walls, you will reach the coast again on the shores of Carlingford Lough for the final stop of the day. From here, you will return back across the border and travel south to Dublin arriving around 19:00.

Game of Thrones Tour: Depart Belfast and travel along one of the top 5 scenic drives in the world, the Antrim Coastal Route. First stop on the tour is Carrickfergus Castle which is a Norman castle build in 1177, after 800 years of history the castle still looks incredible today. After around 45 minutes travelling along the Antrim Coast Road the next stop is Carnlough Harbour for a comfort break. A short walk across the road will reward you with the first film location in Game of Thrones, Carnlough Harbour. The harbour has not changed in hundreds of years and features in many paintings. Cushendun Village is the next stop of the day where you will be taken to the famous Cushendun Caves. Scotland is only 15 miles across the North Channel and the Mull of Kintyre can be seen on a clear day from here. As the tour proceeds along the Coastal Road the next stop is a viewing point sitting above the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge. Unfortunately the bridge is closed for coach tours but the viewpoint has the ideal view. The Iconic Dark Hedges is next on the itinerary and provides one of the best Instagram opportunities of the day. Fans of Game of Thrones will instantly recognise this as the Kings Road from Game of Thrones. Lunch will be offered at this stop. The next stop is the highlight of the tour and what you have come to see, the Giant’s Causeway. The Giant's Causeway has often been described as the 8th wonder of the world, and once you have visited the site you’ll quickly see why. The area consists of around 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns formed during a volcano eruption 60 million years ago. This is one of the world’s great natural attractions although many Irish passionately believe the Causeway was built by the Celtic warrior hero Finn McCool. We will tell you the story and let you decide….. After the Giant’s Causeway the last stop of the day is the new viewpoint above Dunluce Castle. Home to the McQuillan family who built the fortress around 500 years ago. Game of Thrones fans will immediately recognize the House of Greyjoy .One of the most spectacular castle ruins anywhere in the world, Dunluce Castle is located on top of cliffs that collapse into the North Atlantic below.
