Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha): With 17 floors – each dedicated to the ‘she’ Buddha – and standing at 67 meters high, Linh Ung is the tallest Buddhist statue in Vietnam. What people are saying about Da Nang

This was an absolutely fantastic experience, even though we had bad weather every part of the trip was enjoyable. Our chef/guide Be was incredible and I loved her energy! Starting with the market tour, followed by the boat trip, and then, to the cooking school, everything was really nicely organised, and I was really lucky as a vegetarian traveller that I was with a group where there are multiple vegetarians. They were able to cater for us perfectly, and I’ve learned so many exciting new skills to take back home with me!

I would highly recommend to anyone interested in food. It was great to learn from Trang how to behave in the market, to find out more about the ingredients and then to be able to process them into 4 exciting dishes. Everyone makes all 4 dishes themselves according to instructions, which was very important to me. At the end you get a recipe book. Cooking is easy, a lot is already prepared/pre-cut! The basket boat ride is also nice, but cooking alone would have been enough for me :)

Be was amazing we had a great experience. the boat ride was thrilling and the cooking was delicious and we plan to recreate the dishes at home! well worth the price.

It was lovely! Such a friendly host and learned to make 3 great dishes. The visit to the dragon bridge and the market is a nice way to start.

The food we cooked was some of the best food we have had on our Vietnam trip so far. The tour guides were lovely hosts.
