The trip is worth it, it is fascinating to see the animals up close and also "in the air". The only minus point was the arrangement for the meeting point of the pick-up, the street name with house number was given and is also easy to find, but the bus is behind the building, which we only found out by luck. The fact that we found out during the tour that there were pick-up points that were much closer to our address surprised us a little. So maybe just ask again shortly before the trip if there are other options.

The overall tour was pretty good. The air conditioned bus was also nice with the heat being as hot as it was... loved watching the crocs jump up in the river and the funny names the crew had named the crocs. The only bad thing was the lady seated behind us on the coach kept coughing toward us and two days later I caught whatever she had and the rest of my holiday was ruined. Would have been nice if she had cancelled and not passed her germs on to me especially whilst I’m pregnant.

A must see when in Darwin

Micheal, our tour guide/bus driver was excellent and informed us about the sites along the way. He made sure we saw wildlife such as wallabies and monitor lizards and a variety of birds. The croc cruise was fun, we saw a number of crocs and the jumping was pretty amazing. We were also treated with a Kite show. Once of the rangers was throwing meat to the Kites as they trailed the boat. It was amazing to see them catch the small chunks of meat in their talons and immediately eat it.
