What people are saying about Deir el-Medina

Impeccable organization with a fluid exchange with Arwa who keeps you informed and hears from you throughout the activity. Bomba is an excellent driver, good natured, friendly, constant communication before departure and the car smells very good. The hot air balloon experience is worth living, especially with the sunrise; unbelievable. Mohamed is a pilot who is both professional and at the same time friendly: nothing to say. Asma, our tour guide was really nice, involved and passionate. My congratulations for his French which is sincerely excellent for a person who started only 1 year ago: Bravo. Additional information: - Remember to take a coat or a good jacket (in the broad sense of what to cover yourself). At night it is really cool or even cold. -Count +/- 45min of waiting between the arrival in Luxor and the actual takeoff (waiting for other minibuses, inflating the balloons or even the briefing before boarding I recommend!

This day was really incredibly beautiful. We were picked up at the hotel in Hurghada at 11.50pm. Our driver Bebo spoke good English and got us safely to Luxor so we could sleep in the car with no worries. We got to a parking lot in Luxor at 4am and had to wait an hour for a minibus to take us to a field near the Valley of the Kings. The balloon ride there took 45-60 minutes and was really beautiful with the blood-red sunrise! After that we met our tour guide Sayed who studied Egyptology and German. We had such an instructive and exciting day with him, we agreed with him individually what we would like to do. Our Itinerary: Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Workers, Guided Stone Workshop, Nile Cruise, Lunch, Karnak Temple and Luxor Coach Ride. A truly unforgettable day :)

What an amazing experience. Very well organised from Bomba and Arwa, however a very long journey and quite cold in the early hours (bring a jacket and bag because it gets hot later on). Our Driver Mohamed Zamzam was supportive and helpful throughout the whole journey to and from Luxor and in Luxor too, couldn’t have asked for a better driver. Our Tour Guide Mohamed Sadiq was very knowledgeable and also very helpful when it came to recommendations, I liked that he never forced anything on us and let us choose our desired locations, he also welcomed me and my wife into his home city with open arms. Overall great experience but a very tiring one.

BREATHTAKING Experience!! Thank you so much to Arwa who arranged our whole tour was so good! Everything was organised and on point! Mohammed was an amazing chauffeur such a lovely guy and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Ahmed he was also amazing very good at story telling could listen to him all day haha!

Bomba is an excellent host and driver! Very funny guy and made us feel comfortable straight away! Hot air balloon was amazing as were all the temples! Our guide was very knowledgable and fit a lot in in a very short space of time.
