Escape the cities and take in the contrasts of Ksar Ghilane oasis on this 10-hour excursion. In the afternoon, leave the island of Djerba and head by 4x4 with your driver to the desert, a trip that will take about 2.5 hours. It will pass quickly though, as you cross the mountain and stony tracks to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane. This place is known for being one of the gates of the Tunisian Sahara desert, inhabited by families of nomads and Berbers. Once you’ve arrived, your first activity will be a 1-hour camel ride through the dunes. While you’re enjoying the sandy landscapes from atop these tall, slow animals, your driver will be setting up the table. A bottle of wine, appetizers, and some fruits await you when you return from your camel ride. As you eat, enjoy the sunset and the changing colors of the sky. After your meal, you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the natural hot spring. Ksar Ghilane oasis is fed by a source of hot water that you can swim in and is said to have healing properties. Afterwards, return to Djerba and stop to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

It is a garrison ship of the 2nd World War that made a route from Libya to Tunisia, it is about 40m long, one third is silted. It is based on a bottom of 18m maximum. For example, aircraft engines contain electric cables, gas masks and telecommunication equipment. It is at 4.3 NM from the club about 10 minutes. There are some beautiful porcelain, many military equipment, many discoveries are still to be made on this wreck. The fauna is composed of liches, corbs, and some not shy groupers who are even curious enough, hermit crabs, and many nudibranchs.

Your kite discovery course will allow you to receive a first taste of what kite boarding is about. There is very little theory, meaning that you will go directly into the water to immediately have fun. At first, you will fly a small kite to understand where and how it flies. You will then set up a bigger kite together with your guides, who will also tell you about the various different equipment that you will be using. Next, you will be shown how the safety elements work so you can enter the water and enjoy yourself safely. You will then be taught how to control the kite by doing exercises such as relaunching the kite, performing a "figure 8", and body dragging. The course lasts for 2-hours, and at the conclusion of the course, you will receive an internationally-recognized certificate from the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization).
