1. From Lagos: Ponta da Piedade Guided Cruise & Beaches
Ponta da Piedade (Portuguese for "point of mercy") is a headland with a group of rock formations along the coastline of the town of Lagos, in the Portuguese region of the Algarve. Consisting of yellow-golden cliff-like rocks up to 20 meters high, they are one of the most famous touristic attractions of Portugal. The location also contains a lighthouse, dating back to 1913. Actual Boat Trips operates two six meter boats for our 1 hour cave tour. On one of our smaller boats, we take you along the coast visiting the famous caves of Ponta da Piedade. We start our tours from the old Fisherman´s Harbor along the river and Lagos historical downtown. The unique Beaches and rock formations will take your breath away.
