João is an exceptional tour guide. He has a deep knowledge of subject matter for his tours; food, history, culture, You ask a question and get ready for a very interesting and factual explanation. I highly recommend any of his excursionS and plan to use him again

This was truly an amazing experience! If you can, ask for Pascal as a guide; he was kind, funny, very knowledgeable and a great story teller! Just wonderful! Easy pick up with a nice, spacious van. Bottles of water provided. The first stop was at a small family vineyard where we tasted amazing wines and ports, with some bread, olive oil and jam. After plenty of time to have a look at the view, we went on a boat tour on the Douro river. This was the only 'touristy' thing about the whole experience, as this was on a tourist boat with other tourists. We got the great tip from our guide to sit in the back though, where there were only about 8 people, shade, and a beautiful view. Afterwards we drove to a lovely small town where we had an AMAZING diner prepared by a sweet, older, local woman. We had some appetizers, main course and 4 kinds of desserts, with wines and water to your liking. We ended this lovely day in Vila Real where we had a refreshing porto-tonic. 11/10 would recommend!

Pascal a été aux petits soins et nous a communiqué sa passion du Portugal. Nous avons passé une très belle journée. Paysages magnifiques, visite de cave vip, découverte d’un petit musée typique. Nous avons très bien déjeuner avec vue sur le Douro, mais à choisir, nous aurions préféré un endroit plus intime, par exemple dans un petit village typique. Nous recommandons sans hésiter!
