Our tour guide José picked us up right in front of our hotel in a minibus at the agreed time. José is a very nice and helpful man of Cuban origin who speaks German very well. The city tour was carried out by him in German. He gave us a lot of background information about Miami and Florida and about the people living there, which we found very interesting. The subsequent boat trip past the villas of the rich and beautiful was unfortunately only carried out by the operating boat company in English and Spanish, which was a shame because the lady on the boat spoke very quickly and you only got half of it. Overall, however, we were very happy with the tour; it was very informative and our tour guide José gave clear announcements about stops and times regarding the onward journey. Thanks José!
This tour gives a very good picture of Miami in a short time. You drive a minibus through the main streets of miami- beach and then go to Miami do-town. Wynwood Wallis with all the beautiful murals is fantastic. The stop here could be longer to enjoy more. Then on to the boat trip past the houses of celebrities. Also at bayside Marketplace it would be better to spend some extra time, to have a drink and to enjoy the view in the harbor or to go to the park. Then on to little Havana and on the way back through the luxury district of Ciral Gables. The driver provided a lot of information en route, so we now know a lot about the history of Miami. Definitely do this tour!
The Cuban guide Jose was very entertaining and charming, good overall impression of Miami with its different districts and highlights, unfortunately there was no photo stop in the Art Deco district / Ocean Drive, flexible in the short-term expansion by boat tour on the Bay side, very recommendable tour
