A highlight, with a paddle steamer through a beautiful landscape. To the right and left of the Elbe, pretty little towns and then the passage through the Elbe Sandstone Mountains - simply gigantic, beautiful and, thanks to good weather, an absolute highlight. Very good explanations during the journey, we were in Dresden for the first time and received a lot of interesting information during the journey. The care was very good, very friendly staff, the weather was autumnal but partly sunny, so that we could sit outside for almost the whole tour and just enjoy the day. All in all, a wonderful day and crowned by a short beautiful rainbow at the end before the end of the tour. The trip with the "Pillnitz" will remain unforgettable

An actually relaxed boat tour with great views and interesting information. Hardly anyone obeyed the corona rules, so strangers without a mask also had to sit close to each other. The hospitality was friendly and professional, of course no special food and also not really cheap, but you don't expect that there either. However, we would not recommend a full-day tour, but rather to get off at the Königstein Fortress, to visit it there, which you would otherwise not be able to do, and to take the train back to Dresden. It is also advisable to exchange the voucher for a ticket the day before if possible, because the queue at the cash desk was very long on the same day and the one at the ship even longer.

Good tour

A good tour that you can definitely book. However, we have already disembarked in Rathen and walked to the bastion. On the one hand, this was due to the fact that it is not a real tour, as we expected, but simply the ticket for the steamship. Due to the lack of "instructions / guidance", we hastily disembarked in Rathen. The ticket for the ship can be bought for the same price directly on the ship or in the ticket shop on the Brühl terraces. Also the information at getyourguide that the tour is booked up quickly quickly was very misleading. On our "fully booked" tour we were almost alone on board. In this case, it is worth asking the ticket shop. In the end, we were out from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. You could really see a lot from the ship and all in all it was a great discovery tour.
