Full description

Discover the historic old town of Dresden aboard a ship and admire the most beautiful sites of the Elbe Valley. Start off at Terrassenufer and see the three famous castles: Albrechtsberg, Eckberg, and Lingner Castle, along the Elbe on the way to the villa quarter Loschwitz. Pass the 4 famous Elbe bridges, whose histories affect the city up until now. The most memorable bridge is called Blue Wonder, which gets its name because of the color. Soak up the views of the impressive Pillnitz Palace as your boat drops anchor for roughly twenty minutes. It was built in the 18th century under the Elector of Saxony August the Strong and is now the site of the Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Arts and Crafts) as well as the Schlossmuseum (Castle Museum).

The trip to Pillnitz is interesting, unfortunately the announcements on the outer deck were too quiet, and if there are groups who don't care about these announcements... Below deck, however, the announcements could be heard well. But if the temperature is above 30 degrees, you'll be happy to stay on the outside deck.

Great sights can be admired on the journey and are therefore entertaining. The Elbe lies beautifully in its river bed and left and right extensive undeveloped nature. Everything was done right back then and not built near the river. Very nice staff. Gladly again and highly recommended. Duration of the trip and value for money excellent

Super 2 hour drive to Pillnitz Castle. We only booked the outward journey. That was a good thing because you can then look at everything with pleasure. We were there for almost 3 hours. Then you can take the ferry across and then take bus 88 to tram line 2 or walk 5 minutes to tram line 2. In the direction of the Frauenkirche center you drive about 30 minutes. You can get a ticket for 5 € for 2 people on the ferry, which means the ferry and 1 hour bus / tram ride.
