Full description
This special combination package will give you an insight into the traditions of the desert outside of Dubai, as well as a close up look at the exciting modern architecture and historic sites of the city. You will go on a sightseeing tour of the city center, head for the desert on a 4WD Land Cruiser safari, and hit the Gulf on board an evening dhow dinner cruise. Dubai is one of the 7 emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. It is rather like an independent city-state and is the most modern and progressive emirate in the UAE, developing at an unbelievable pace in the tourist and trade sectors especially. The second largest of the 7 Emirates, Dubai city is a bustling metropolis, while outside the city itself the Emirate is sparsely inhabited and characterized by desert vegetation. Day 1 Take a memorable evening cruise along Dubai Creek on board a traditional wooden dhow. Cruise by the stunning illuminated skyline, offering sights of traditional and modern architecture. See water taxis, old trading dhows, luxury yachts and modern architecture, such as the National Bank of Dubai, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Saeed's House, and Heritage Village. Enjoy a blend of Arabic and International music, along with a sumptuous buffet dinner, serving a wide array of continental and oriental dishes, and an excellent selection of beverages. Day 2 (City Tour is not available on Fridays) Take a Dubai city tour to get an excellent city orientation, with a stop at Dubai Creek, before a drive through the Bastakiya, Al Fahidi Fort, Ruler’s Court, Old Mosque, Textile Street, Central Bank, Ministry of Finance, Heritage Village, and the spice and gold souks. Proceed along Jumeirah Road, passing by the Dry Docks, Historical Union House, the beautiful Jumeirah Mosque, the Burj Al Arab - the world’s tallest 7-star hotel - and the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. In the afternoon, you will go on a thrilling desert drive over the golden sand dunes of the Emirate, deep into the heart of the desert. Arrive at a traditional Arabic desert camp and enjoy the authentic ambiance of a typical Bedouin campsite, with traditional Arabian carpets, low tables and cushions for comfortable seating. Go on a camel ride, get a traditional henna painting, or simply enjoy the aromatic shisha pipe. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet meal with a wide variety of barbecue meats, salads, main-course, and desserts. The climax of the evening is a stunning performance by an exotic belly dancer, tanoura dancer, and fire dancer, all under a star-filled sky. Please note that supplement charges apply during Christmas and New Year's.

It was a great experience and my family and myself had a great time. The only issue would be that our half day city tour which was initially scheduled for the first was postponed to the 2nd day with desert in the afternoon, and that is really not a good option since between the city tour and pick up time for safari the time is really short and we nearly missed lunch. Also it would have been wiser to inform us through a phone call to inform us of the change in schedule as we only became aware of same when we called them after waiting nearly 1 hour for pick up. The package in itself was a very good one and it helped us know more about DUBAI. Thanks You

Good organised tour with lot of commercial moments

The ctity sightseeing would be interstive if the tour guide Mr. Kamran Abbas had be more interestnig and not so boring speech with a lot of numbers about invested money. We had to stop 3 times at shops becouse of provision our tour guide. Because of the sightseeing éasted more than 5 ours. The desert safari was better, we had just 1 compulsory shopping stop.

Part great, part poor and part average experience

This package can be divided into 3 individual tours. Dubai Creek Cruise: A cruise in a traditional wooden dhow. The views don't inspire you much, especially if you have done river cruises in the US or in India, which have a scenic or vibrant views. For me this was a huge disappointment because there was no seat for me at first. The boat was full. I had to fight with the staff to get a chair and in the end got one in one corner of the boat. Prior to this, the pick up from my hotel was late by 50 minutes and the driver was highly unprofessional. Dubai City Tour: The first half of the tour was spent in a heritage center and in an oriental center who, I presume, have paid these tour guides to bring guests there. They were lame and an absolute waste of time. Dubai Museum would have been a great choice instead to learn about the history of Dubai. Rest of the tour was just a rush. Safari: This was an amazing tour. It left me spellbound. In all, a very average experience.
