It is really a beautiful experience to view the sunrise from this event. Good hospitality and a humorous captain adds to the charm. You get to a height higher than Burj Khalifa and you get about an hour and a half in the sky. After that a pleasant breakfast along with Camel and Horse ride.

The hot air balloon ride was fantastic! It was quite foggy as we were being picked up from our hotels, so we were anxiously waiting for the fog to burn off before we could launch. However, once we were airborne, it was absolutely breathtaking to watch the sun rise over the desert. I also loved that the falcon and its handler came along with us and we got to hold it not only on the ground but while were in the air as well. While the hot air balloon ride was of course the highlight of the morning, it was also a nice treat and a lot of fun to be able to ride a camel, horse and drive an ATV after breakfast.

I loved the captain and the falcon trainer. Captain Tariq was great with a friendly personality and he explained some things about the hot air balloon itself. The falcon trainer and Tesla, the falcon, was absolutely fantastic. I had great conversations with him about falcons and Dubai information that he shared with us. The only reason why I gave this a 4 stars instead of 5 is because each "cubby" of the hot air balloon was fitting 4 people but I had 5 for including the falcon trainer and two very large people in the place so my cousin got moved behind everyone and could not get a good view against the basket. Then the "video" we purchased of our flight was just a go pro that was shortened and basically facing us unmoving the whole time, didn't really get the view behind us or anything so it wasn't really worth $20 extra.
