We always thought that Dubai is only about shopping and dessert but with Ricky we were able to see a very different side of thr city. We looked at some Arabic architecture and heritage, visited locak markets. All in all it was a fun experience, if you really want to get to know a city well, this is the right way to do it.

The tour provides great information about history, culture and food that we would not have learned otherwise. The small group helped us to be fully engaged with the guide, who gave us brilliant stories not just about Dubai but the entire region. We spent some time at the souks and the textile market as well. All in all good 2 hours spent.

This trip is a must to really understand this vibrant city. Local customs were also explained and myths busted. It was an excellent way to learn about the culture and history of old Dubai, we stayed well away from the very modern Dubai with the sky scrapers, but instead focused on the older side of the city. We took a local boat across the river, which was quite memorable and also visited a couple museums.
