Full description

Embark on a guided day trip to discover the iconic Cliffs of Moher by bus. Visit Galway and its stunning surrounding landscape and see famous landmarks, including Dunguaire Castle and Kilmacduagh Monastery.

Depart Dublin at 6:45 AM and journey through the flat open plain of the Curragh. Pass the Irish National Stud thoroughbred horse breeding facility as your guide shares a wealth of history and information.

Head to the ruins of Kilmacduagh Monastery and its roundhouse—unique for the way it leans over by more than 2 feet. Spend 15-20 minutes here. Then, arrive at the Cliffs of Moher for a view of the Atlantic Ocean and explore on your own for around 1.5 hours.

Go to the visitor's centre for the interactive Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience with a large multimedia screen displaying a bird's-eye view from the cliffs, and a video from the underwater caves.

Next, discover the lunar landscapes of The Burren with a 15–20-minute visit and hear about the many secrets of this atypical landscape, home to the warmest ground temperature in Ireland.

Arrive in the city of Galway, where you will have around 1 hour to explore on your own. Discover its old-world charm on cobblestone streets that evoke an authentic Ireland of times gone by.

Then drive along the coastal route of the Wild Atlantic Way to Kinvara, passing Dunguaire Castle and the 12 Bens mountain range along the way. Return to Dublin and get dropped off at the meeting point at around 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Recommended visit if you do not have the opportunity to get around Ireland by car. I really enjoyed visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren Rocks. I would dedicate more time to this latter site, perhaps taking away that quarter of an hour for the unnecessary visit of the kilmacduagh monastery. I would also take half an hour away from visiting Galway. In short, I would review the timing. Sean's English was too narrow, practically incomprehensible slang. Comparing me with other Italians, we all agreed: out of 10 words one could barely understand one. Knowing that there were people on board who were not native English speakers, I would recommend a more inclusive language for the next time.

The experience was great, up to expectations, with perfect supervision! The guide knew how to fascinate us thanks to his detailed explanations, but also his good humor. The general atmosphere of the group was very good, the sites visited magnificent. I highly recommend this excursion for a first discovery of Ireland.

I had a very nice experience! The departure was at 6:45am and we arrived at 19:15h. We had 5 stops (Obama Gas Station, Cliffs of Moher, Monk Temple, Limestone Field, Galway) but I only got the tour because of the Cliffs and Galway (Obama stop was nice), the other stops was just time consuming and useless - in my opinion. Because the seats are not super comfortable for a 12 hours trip. I was really happy the charging plus were working perfectly. Overall it was great, the bus driver and the tour guide were very helpful (Thanks Noel and Boyan)
