Full description
Check in Dublin Heuston Station (Customer Service Desk) for 07:30 departure of InterCity train to Galway (light breakfast available). On arrival in Galway we transfer to our waiting coach and strike out into the magnificent scenery of this region known as Connemara. We experience the lovely village of Leenane at the head of Killary Harbour Ireland only fjord. Our lunch stop is at the world famous Kylemore Abbey Visitor Center and Victorian Garden after which we travel through the Inagh Valley. See Twelve Bens and Maamturks mountain ranges. Plenty of shopping and photo opportunities en route. We continue on along the northern shores of Galway Bay and arrive in Galway for our return Intercity train to Dublin Heuston station arriving at 21.00. Departs Daily (Monday - Saturday).

Check in on the morning of departure at Heuston Station at 7:10 AM beside the customer service desk. Look for representatives wearing bright yellow jackets. They will be present to check you in and to bring you to their reserved seats on the train.

Nett, Zeiteinteilung schlecht

Für jemanden dem schon hier beim Busfahren schlecht wird, ist die Tour garantiert Nichts, da man über Torf fährt und der Bus sehr stark schaukelt und hüpft. Die Zeiteinteilung war leider nicht sehr gut, der erste größere Stopp (30 min) war ein kleines Dorf, nicht genug Zeit für das Museum dort, aber diese 30 min fehlen dann bei Kilmore Abbey, da man dieses in 1,5 std. nicht schafft, vorallem wenn man noch etwas dort essen will. Von dort weg kommt man aber auch nicht, um sich die Landschaft ringsrum anzusehen, man sitzt also fest. Die Bucht von Galyway haben wir wegen einer Sperrung überhaupt nicht gesehen und waren ca. 1,5 Std zu früh am Bahnhof, ohne Betreuung.
