Full description

Your day tour to Wicklow departs from Suffolk Street, outside the old stone church, in Dublin. For our first stop, we are visiting the new and unique Beyond The Trees. It is the first of its kind in Ireland. A spectacular new visitor attraction. Explore the Treetop walk and viewing tower at Avondale and enjoy incredible views of the beautiful Wicklow countryside from the viewing tower. If you are feeling brave, you can get a slide down the tower at an additional cost. After a scenic rural drive, stop off in Hollywood also known as 'the original Hollywood.'

Then head to the beautiful valley and monastic site of Glendalough, where Saint Kevin settled in the 6th century. Here you will have 1.5 hours to discover the area, the visitor center, and St. Kevin's Church. Experience the working side of Wicklow with a visit to a working Irish sheep farm.

Meet your friendly local farmer, who will introduce you to farm life, like the diverse farming practices of sheep farming and the commands used to control the sheepdogs.

The highlight of this stop is a sheepdog exhibition where the farmer will corral the sheep with their trusty border collies.

Natasha was THE best tour guide I’ve had in years, there was almost no time to see the Guinness Lake (Lough Tay) but she did her best and took us anyways because she knew I am a HUGE Vikings (TV show) fan and that show was filmed there, could not recommend her enough, she was also filled with information and fun facts about all of Ireland which kept us learning for the full 9 hours, I went alone and had the greatest time, I’m so glad I did it, thank you so so much Natasha! ☘️🫶🏻💖

Recommend it to anyone visiting Ireland for a few days! Will be coming back again and dragging my sister with me this time. I really enjoyed the view at Wicklow, it was beautiful and the sun made it so much better! We also stopped by this small town for lunch and the cafe was so cozy.

Bud (Patrick) was an amazing, full of energy and interactive tour guide. I was quite sleepy from the day before, but from minute 1 of the tour I was entertained. He shared some interesting facts and personal experiences about Dublin and surroundings. Of course the weather was not amazing (I live in Copenhagen and I know what it is to have sun maybe twice a week? with luck! haha). The landscape is breathtaking and the pictures shown in the web page are 100% true!. I also enjoyed the meeting of the sheep farm and the farmer was very kind explaining the methods, quite interesting field! The hiking across the Natural Reserve of Glicklow was charming, and I loved that we could investigate the different routes by ourselves so having the possibility of enjoying whatever we felt like it. We also had very nice coffee in a beautiful bakery in the middle of Hollywood town. The bus road trip is not very long and the views are super nice. I definitely recommend this experience!
