Climb aboard an all-weather 48-passenger river boat for a 45-minute cruise along the River Liffey in Dublin and see the city from the water. Get insight into the history of Dublin City and the River Liffey in particular, from the arrival of the Vikings more than 1,000 years ago, through the swift development of Dublin during the 18th and 19th centuries, to the subsequent decline and more recent redevelopment of Dublin Docklands. Hear about the iconic Ha'penny Bridge and Gandon's masterpiece Custom House. Follow the story of Dublin’s Royal and Grand Canals, and see where Oliver Cromwell landed in 1649. Discover how Captain William Bligh surveyed Dublin Bay in 1800, and how much of present day Dublin now sits on reclaimed land, including Trinity College and the Spire in O'Connell Street.

We loved this tour. The first contact we had with the team was absolutely delightful. Since we were late on another tour, we had to ask for this tour to be postponed and they were totally helpful. They helped us in everything and were immediately available to find a solution. The tour was great, the guide is super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Dublin and makes a point of showing the sights in detail. Even with rain, as we took it, it is a tour that I recommend doing. With the rise in the water level of the river, the boat left us in a different place from the place of embarkation, but they were more than quick to show us the best ways to return to the place of departure.

Would highly recommend this boat trip to anyone visiting dublin or even people from dublin im from dublin myself and learned some interesting things about my hometown that i didn't know. The pricing of the tour is very reasonable and the tour guides were very helpful and added some irish humour to the tour which made it even more enjoyable.

Was booked on line and informed of a change of departure location the day before. Boat arrived on time and sailing time was punctual. No issues. COVID measures were in place but made to feel very welcome and safe by guide and captain.Boat was adapted to ensure social distancing although there was only a family of 4 and myself on board..Difficult times for these attractions!!
