The coach (bus) was packed with over 50 people so there were no COVID precautions. The scenery was breathtaking, but only on your side of the bus. The driver was very informative and stopped when he could for photo ops and a quick lunch. There were only 6 folks who started in Dublin with GYG and came to Killarney on the train to join 45 others from different tour groups. Had a guide all the way TO Killarney, but when the bus returned to Killarney, we were told to find the train station on our own with very vague directions. No guide, so we had to make the connections on our own. Absolutely no time in Killarney. I can say I’ve been there, but we saw nothing except what was on our walk to the train station from where we were dropped off. I think arranging a smaller sized tour from Killarney would be a better choice.

Amazing trip around the beautiful Ring of Kerry! Our bus driver Bat was fantastic told us stories, history and sang songs the whole time. It was a long day trip from Dublin though if I did it again I’d plan to spend a night in Killarney. I do recommend packing lots of water and snacks there are few opportunities to buy food!

Very informative, beautifully landscaped, very well organized.

Of course, the train ride with changes takes 3 hours for one tour, but it was worth it. In Killarny you will be guided by the train to the waiting bus. There it continues with breaks on the Ring of Kerry. The escort was guaranteed from the Heuston Station to the return home to Heuston Station. Everywhere the company had English-speaking staff so that you couldn't get out of the way wrong or get lost. Great recommendation ... of course this excursion lasts 14 hours.
