After pickup from your hotel in Dubrovnik, drive through northern Montenegro into Albania, where you will first stop for sightseeing in Krujë. A small town full of wooden houses, stone fortresses and an interesting mosque, Krujë is a symbol of rich and diverse Albanian culture. Visit the castle, which held a strategic military position for Albanian resistance against the Ottoman Empire during the 15th century. After visiting the old town, enjoy an exclusive lunch in a traditional Albanian restaurant. Afterwards, take a 2-hour visit of Tirana, the Albanian capital. The next destination is Shkodra, but along the route you will stop to see some of the 20th-century bunkers that were designed by the communist dictator Enver Hoxha to fit only one soldier at a time. Located on a large lake of the same name, Shkodra is one of the oldest and most important cities in Albanian history, as well as a main commercial city in the modern economy. Here you will witness a true blend of Eastern and Western culture and architecture from every period of Albanian history. Your guide will take you to enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view of the city from Castle Rozafa, on the nearby mountainside. Stay overnight at a hotel in Shkodra. The following day, the tour returns to Dubrovnik along the Adriatic Coast. As you pass through Montenegro, you will have a chance to visit both Budva and Kotor, two magnificent old towns with a completely different cultural background from Albania. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, your driver will take you back to your hotel.

The half day excursion starts as the guide picks you up at your accommodation/hotel in Dubrovnik and take you to the panoramic viewpoint above the Old City Dubrovnik for photographs. After a breathtaking view and a photo stop you continue to medieval city of Cavtat. The drive to Cavtat is about 30 minutes. The cores of Cavtat make up ancient remains, Renaissance palaces and villas. This ancient town is filled with beautiful beaches and luxury hotels, along with the traditional life and customs that are waiting just for you to discover them. You will stay about 1 hour in Cavtat. After exploring this beautiful medieval city you will head to well known viewpoint called Sivi Soko from there you will have majestic view of Dubrovnik, Konavle, Cavtat and the neighboring islands. This is a a perfect place to take some stunning pictures before the guide takes you to the small Konavle village, Velji Do for lunch. In the restaurant in Velji Do you have opportunities to spend same unforgettable moments with your family and friends and get an insight about the domestic food and customs of local inhabitants. You can choose between three menus of delicious domestic food. You will stay in Velji Do in the restaurant for 1 hour and 30 minutes. After lunch you can enjoy a 45 minute panoramic drive back to Dubrovnik.

After hotel pick up, take the scenic drive to visit Koćuša waterfalls to marvel at the stunning views. Next, visit a family-run farm in Hardomilje and discover the culture based on organically grown food and homemade specialties. Take a culinary tour of the farm with your local host. Head to the Trebižat river, the perfect setting for a relaxing boat ride in a traditional wooden boat. See nature’s best from the banks, hear about the old customs and traditions while having a drink. The pristine aquafer waters of the Trebizat River are home to brown trout and crabs, and during the summer months, you are welcome to go for a swim. After the ride, savor a local lunch of local products for a real taste of the area, before you head back to your hotel after your experience.

After pickup at your hotel or the cruise port, you will have the opportunity to visit Trsteno Botanical Garden, a 30-minute drive from Dubrovnik. During a 45-minute visit, explore a Renaissance garden built in 1492, full of exotic plants and trees. Next stop is the little village of Majkovi, where you can taste some of the best domestic products the region has to offer, including homemade cheeses, local olives, delicious dried meat, freshly baked bread, honey produced by the hosts, and a wide variety of homemade liquor and Croatian wines. Continuing along the high Napoleonic road, enjoy a majestic view of the Elaphiti Islands as you descend into Ston. The town is home to one of the oldest working salt factories in Europe, the second largest stone wall in Europe and some of the tastiest oysters on the Adriatic. A few brave tourists are interested in walking the walls, spanning 5.5 kilometers of steep hillside. If you prefer to take a swim, drink a cup of coffee or sample fresh oysters, your guide will be happy to accommodate you. On the way back to Dubrovnik, you will return to Majkovi for an extravagant homemade meal in the traditional Croatian style called ispod peke in a 300-year-old family house. Indulge in fresh goat cheese, vegetables from the garden, and young goat or lamb slow cooked all day under a large iron bell known as a peka. The seafood menu includes octopus or grilled fish with a side of potatoes and vegetables, homemade wine and dessert. Upon arrival back in Dubrovnik, your driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
