Experience

Highlights
  • Take in the panoramic views of the Dubrovnik city walls from the sea
  • Cruise beneath fort Lovrjenac, built on a 37-meter high steep rock overlooking the sea
  • Explore the Elafiti Islands and visit the most popular caves in Dubrovnik
Full description
Visit several smaller caves on the island of Koločep and the Blue Cave. Go inside and experience how the reflection of the sun rays gives the sea an extraordinary blue color. Your skipper will join you in the sea as he shares interesting stories about the Dubrovnik caves. Next, visit the three Green caves. You’ll notice right away how the hues of turquoise and green beautifully blend as the waves ripple on the surface. These are also excellent spots for swimming and snorkeling. As you sail back towards the Old Town, stop by the Betina Cave and tread on the beautiful pebble beach. Visit the biggest of the Dubrovnik caves, called the Pidgeon’s cave. Secluded, on the outer side of the island, its entrance is surrounded by steep rocks and Mediterranean greenery protruding from the rocks.

Maro was amazing and was flexible due to the bad weather! We started late but spend more than 4 hours, all my friends were happy! We explored many islands and Caves along with the swimming in the beach! He was very helpful knowing things in Dubrovnik and Would definitely visit again!

This was a very nice excursion! Our skipper Maro was also very sympathetic and obliging. Unfortunately, there was no go-pro camera on the boat, although this was indicated in the excursion. To make up for this, we got an hour longer and Maro personally went with us to two small caves that you would never enter without guidance and he led us to 2 secret spots. This was great ! He also took pictures there and sent them to me afterwards. In retrospect, we were even happy that we experienced this to compensate for the missing go-pro camera.

This was the most amazing and beautiful experience we had while in Dubrovnik. Our tour guide/ skipper, Maro, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and took us to beautiful caves that we would not have been able to see by ourselves. On our way back we enjoyed a view of the beautiful walled city during sunset. All in all, we had a relaxing day, truly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Dubrovnik, a must on your list of things to do.
