Starting at Pile Gate, you’ll walk along the city’s elegant main street, seeing its most important sights. At one end of this street you’ll admire the 14th-century Franciscan Monastery, whose cloister ranks among the most inspiring sites in the city. At the other end, you’ll see the church of St. Blaise, the Sponza Palace, the Dominican Monastery, and the Rector's Palace. After exploring Dubrovnik’s historical heritage, your guide will take you to Santa Maria, the oldest district of the city, where you’ll experience the real Dubrovnik. You can discover the hidden quarter of Buza, frequented almost exclusively by the locals. Here, the Door of St. Stjepan opens to reveal a view over white rocks and blue sea to Lokrum Island.
