Montenegro is beautiful! My tour guide Dana (unsure on spelling) was fantastic. Really knowledgeable and I learned a lot on the drives. Got everyone on the bus engaged gave us tips where to go in each spot and how much time needed for certain attractions. Made sure not to leave anyone behind. I read a lot of reviews that said Budva was boring, but I could have spent more time there (at each stop really)! Go to the citadel (about €2) for nice views and exploring. The streets are also cute at each stop, a maze though. In Kotor we paid a €2 tourist tax that I think wasn't necessary but not a big deal and you get an official stamped paper saying you were there. Make sure to bring Euros. This trip is worth it!

Interesting excursion especially in the morning with a visit to the Bay of Kotor and the old town. The rest is a bit long and leaves little time for a suitable visit. Painful return with nearly 2 hours to cross the border. The agency could have provided refreshments for an excursion of more than 11 hours.

We were excited to take a day trip to Montenegro while we were in Dubrovnik and thought this tour would be a convenient way to see some of the country without having to worry about the details of planning it ourselves. Our tour guide and driver were both very friendly and professional. Our tour guide gave a lot of great information throughout the day. The bus was large and thankfully air conditioned. The only downside was that it advertised a pickup between 0730 and 0800 and we were picked up at 0640. We then picked up another group of people before starting our journey. There was no stop on the way out of town for views of the city as advertised, however that wasn’t a huge deal for us, just mentioning for others looking to book this trip. We visited three cities and Kotor was by far our favorite. As others have mentioned we would have been happy with longer in Kotor and cutting out Budva completely. Bring snacks and lots of water as the return took forever at the border for us!
