When the tour reaches the town of Neum you can take a break for shopping and morning coffee. The tour then proceeds through a picturesque delta of the River Neretva to the small town of Pocitelj. In Pocitelj you will have an opportunity for sightseeing and free time. Pocitelj is a beautiful cultural and historical site featuring structures from the 15th century. Continuing to Medjugorje you will have more time for sightseeing and discovery. Medjugorje is a spiritual and religious site and is one of the most famous pilgrim destinations in the Catholic world. Since the apparition of Our Lady of Peace in 1981 this place has been visited by pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. The tour will then proceed to Mostar. Through the centuries Mostar became the meeting point of various cultures and religions. During your sightseeing you will witness the imprint left by this varied history. The driver was excellent and the ride was smooth from Dubrovnik to Mostar and back, the stop-overs along the way were informative and rewarding. However, the guide in Mostar was too focused on the war in the 90's with a political bias and too much emphasis on the war to even subject us to a home made video of it and later try and sell guide books! We did not see any glimpse of the Croat side of Mostar - only the Bosnian one. Need a more balanced guide and one with more objectivity. Focus on the ancient past also and not just post-90's.

A really worthwhile day. Inevitably the visit to the 3 sites was introductory, but this tour gave a good initial taste of Bosnia and left me wanting to return to explore more. Daniel was a friendly, patient and relaxed but well organised guide. Border crossings went smoothly and the route was scenic. Mostar was really interesting and I could easily have spent longer there.

Our driver Cristian was amazing! He was super kind and knowledgeable. The drive there was easy and air-conditioned and there were only six in our group. Our local guide in Mostar was incredibly knowledgeable but he was also 20 minutes late which was frustrating (especially in 100-degree weather). My biggest complaint would just be that in the small towns we visited we did not have enough time which was especially a bummer when we did not have time to see the apparition hill in Medjugorje. 45 minutes in each place was just not enough to do anything and it would be time better spent all in Mostar or to combine the time and only do one other town. But other than that, my friend and I greatly enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend bringing euros in cash as most places do not take card and the currency is different from the Croatian currency (some places took Kuna, but most only took euros or local currency).
