    Familiarize yourself with Croatian wines on a private, full-day wine tasting trip from Dubrovnik. Visit 3 family-owned domaines and taste around 15 red Plavac mali and white Posip, Grk, Malvazija, or Marastina wines from the bottle and barrel. Begin your day with a drive to the Peljesac Peninsula, approximately an hour from Dubrovnik. Stop off at the wineries, touring the vineyards and cellars and enjoying tutored tastings at each spot. You will also meet the wine makers who will tell you all about their wineries and wines. Stop for delicious lunch in a local restaurant famous for its typical Croatian cuisine. You will also have the opportunity to buy wine at discount prices. Spend time in the medieval town of Ston, famous for its production of oysters and wine, and take the opportunity to try both.

    Our day trip to wine country was worthwhile. Or driver, Vladimar, was friendly and informative and was accommodating to our needs. He was also a good driver which made our ride more pleasant. We liked the selected wineries - each was different from the other. Our stop in Ston was unexpectedly good. We saw how salt was harvested, something we haven't previously seen. We highly recommend this tour to others.

    Very respectful driver/guide, excellent English, and very knowledgeable. Clean, new Mercedes carrier was superb. Great visits to three wineries, not too deep into the wines, relaxing and just enough information. Great stop for lunch at a very nice restaurant.

    Everything was wonderful. Great wine, amazing FRESH oysters, and Alex was a very friendly, knowledgable and professional tour guide. Well worth the money, and a great way to spend a day tasting local one-of-a-kind wines. Can't recommend this excursion enough!!!
