Fuerteventura: Discover the island by Land Cruiser

2. Fuerteventura: Discover the island by Land Cruiser

Embark on an unforgettable tour by Land Cruiser, and discover the best way to explore the Canary Islands. Fuerteventura is famous for its magnificent beaches, but the interior is something else to be desired. Step into charming villages, watch time stand still, and gaze at the beautiful beaches, unknown to many. Leave Costa Calma and head toward Sicasumbre viewpoint. Pass through Ajuy and Pajara, while enjoying the panoramic route in the mountains. Take out your camera and capture beautiful sites along the way. Next, head to the old capital, Betancuria. This small settlement was founded in 1404 and was once the capital of the island all the way up until the 19th century. From there, go offroading and discover wonderful and clandestine beaches, like Playa Jarubio and arrive at Cotillo to enjoy Escalera beach. Afterward, make a stop at Villa Verde and taste a delicious Canarian lunch. Then, explore the wonderful dunes of Corralejo, before heading back to Costa Calma.

Small group tour gave a good overview of the north/middle of the island with various stops in Betancuria, Ajuy, Pajara, a small private Aleo Vera farm and the dunes of Corralejo. Everywhere there was the opportunity for short walks or coffee stops. The lunch was also very tasty and included fried fish and braised goat meat in addition to potatoes, tomatoes and cheese. Our guide Juan was very entertaining and had a lot of information and anecdotes about the island ready. All in all, I can definitely recommend the tour!

This trip was fun and our tour guide Simon was great, he explained so many things and nothing was too much trouble for him. The caves and view amazing, correleja was so eye catching… amazing dunes, sand and one of the best beaches. I would recommend this trip for a great day out on a mini bus tour with plenty stops.

We had the island tour in the north to the middle of the island with tour guide Simon. Was very interesting and he reported a lot about Fuerteventura...also the lunch span. Tapas was very tasty. We can fully recommend the tour and Simon gets all the stars from us for everything...thank you so much and keep it up.

We had an informative and varied tour with Juan and would highly recommend it to anyone curious about all the island has to offer. Coffee breaks and lunch were provided for the necessary breaks. A hands-free facility for the tour guide on the bus would be recommended, but we still managed well.

Drive from the south to the very north with several nice stops in small places like Ajuy, Pajara, Lajares and several viewpoints and the dune beach of Corralejo. Lunch very filling and good including wine and water. There were a few showers, but overall the weather cooperated.
