Well organised and the tour guide handset was easy to understand and operate. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. We had done the tour before and were doing it again with family in the same age group. Our first tour was back when it first started and must congratulate the operators on the considerable improvements they have made. An experience enjoyed by all.

The audio guide is clear, informative and unpretentious. My wife, who is totally blind, was particularly grateful for VIP edition of the audio guide, which provides additional information to enrich the experience for the Visually ImPaired.. The tour itself is leisurely, giving you plenty of time to browse the many, often unexpected items aboard the vessel, and you can really sense what life was like aboard the yacht for the royal family and their aides, as well as for the officers and men of the Royal Navy, including the Royal Marine Band, who took the ship around the globe. We are not ardent royalists and were sceptical about this visit, but we enjoyed it very much.

Its just one of those trips/ visits you should not miss. You will be part of a living experience. Take time for coffee or afternoon tea just to complete the visit. Allow half a day to fully appreciate the experience by the time you have travelled from Edinburgh,( possibly travel by one of the circular bus tours ) taken in the ship and had coffee.
