It was an amazing experience, we have a friend visiting Scotland and we chose this tour, best decision ever, Fred was a great guide that told the story in a way we could see exactly what she wanted us to imagine, she created such a great atmosphere we felt we were back in those days. Throughly enjoyed our Ghostly tour with our teenage daughter and Veni our guide really made the experience informative spooky & fun. Although no apparitions seen on our visit it was great way to experience a bit of subterranean history of Edinburgh. Only one niggle the group of 17 we thought was quite large and we could also hear a second group behind us. All that considered I would throughly recommend Mercat Tours.

We went last Wednesday night and we were the only ones on the tour with Michael. He was enthusiastic, and very good at telling the stories. I don’t believe or should say didn’t believe in ghosts but after seeing two spirits I am shocked. Totally recommend and when I come back to Edinburgh I will be going again.
