Drive through the Trossachs National Park, Rob Roy country. Cross the wilds of Rannoch Moor before stopping at dramatic Glencoe, site of the infamous massacre in 1692. The journey takes you through Fort William and majestic Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest peak before arriving at the banks of Loch Ness. At the award-winning Lovat Hotel, you’ll be treated to a delicious ‘Taste of Scotland’ Afternoon Tea; a menu designed around some of the local produce. After lunch, you can go ‘Nessie hunting’ on a short walk to the shoreline or just relax by the Caledonian Canal. the drive through the Highlands was great, but the times to get out were far too short. The 3 course menu was meeega..only only half an hour was left for Loch Ness. you have to decide .. eat very tasty or take a boat tour
