Meeting point

Meet outside the Ensign Ewart on The Royal Mile, Edinburgh. There is currently a shortage of taxis and private hire cabs in Edinburgh, which may make it harder to get to the departure point if you're thinking of using a taxi. It is strongly recommended that you allow for more time to reach the departure point in the morning and look into public transport options as a backup.

Gillian really seems to love the views and is still awed by her country and it showed throughout the 2 day trip. There was an unfortunate mix up about Culloden that didn’t allow us to go in and that was the company not paying attention to closures around the holidays. Overall, the views were gorgeous and it was much better than driving ourselves.

My experience of our trip was good. We saw a lot of places that gave us a nice glimpse of Scotlands highlands. Maybe I would like to had more time outside the bus and enjoy more the great nature that surrounded us. Our guide Jim was great, he told us many wonderful stories and history from Scotland.

It was ok but would recommend more stops along the way to interesting places and not just trying to get to too a place without getting the feel of where we are going and what the area is about! Also thought we’d have a bit of hiking or going into attractions and not just stopping in set places to take photos! This was not the right trip for my teenage daughters for sure. too.
